LiftMaster UN201 — a thermostat-controlled 500-watt heater with circulating fan and mounting plate for gate operator enclosures. It is the heater LiftMaster specifies for the Mega Arm Tower (MAT, MATDCBB) barrier gate operators, and it can be fitted in other operator cabinets that have room for the plate and a 120 V outlet.
What it does. The thermostat switches the heater on when the enclosure temperature drops below freezing (32°F) and off again as it warms, so the batteries, control board and gearbox lubricant stay in their working range overnight. The fan circulates the warm air instead of letting it sit at the top of the cabinet.

Before you order
- There must be a 120 V outlet in or beside the enclosure — the UN201 plugs in; it does not wire to the operator’s low-voltage terminals.
- Check the free space in your cabinet against the plate before fitting it in anything other than a Mega Arm Tower.
