LiftMaster HJ5011 Replacement Parts — HJ Series Industrial-Duty Hoist/Jackshaft Operator

Genuine LiftMaster replacement parts for the HJ series industrial-duty hoist/jackshaft operator, 2005 to current production. The HJ5011 is the most common version — 1/2 HP, 115V, single phase. Use the exploded diagram to identify your part by its key number, then match it to the tables below.

Your model number is on the operator’s data label. The first two digits are horsepower and the last two are voltage and phase, so HJ5011 is 1/2 HP at 115V single phase and HJ5023 is 1/2 HP at 208/230V three phase. The HJ is handed — frame plate kits and frame rails come in left and right versions that do not interchange.

Note on brake parts: the HJ uses the standard internal brake solenoids and drum brake kits listed under Service Kits. It does not take the cabled K71-B120H style solenoids fitted to the H series.

Motor Replacement Kits

The motor’s part number is printed on the motor’s own data label. If you can reach it, read the number straight off the label and match it below — that is the most reliable way to order the right motor. TEFC motors are the NEMA 4/12 enclosure versions.

Motor Replacement Kits — Logic 5.0

Electrical box parts. The HJ shares its control boxes with the H and J, and those boxes use different parts from the T and GT versions. The HJ was also offered in a NEMA 4/4X enclosure and, on early units, the contactor-style box.
