Securitron GL1-FL Gate Lock, Fail Secure
The Securitron GL1-FL is a heavy-duty electromechanical gate lock with 2,000 lb of holding force, built for outdoor vehicle, pedestrian and stock gates. It is fail secure (fail locked): the gate stays locked if power is lost, and it can still be opened by key when you add the optional GMC mortise cylinder. Unlike a maglock, the GL1 keeps working when the gate is under preload of up to 100 lb, which makes it a strong choice for gates that sag, bind or get pushed by wind.

Power supply, access control device and wiring are sold separately. Maglocks are fail safe by design: they release when power is removed.
