Where I live there are 687 units in a gated community. For some reason, management did not want to get involved in selling the remotes for the gate. I personally, and my neighbors have bought at least fifty of these units between us. NOT one has given us any sort of problem. Plus I have not heard of any one else having a problem with this unit.
Very easy to program and use and so far extremely reliable.

I have purchased several "universal" gate remotes over the past year with NO success. I was so glad one of my neighbors shared what brand remote she had found as a replacement for our townhouse gate. This item came more quickly than I expected - and with the battery! It is now a delight to come home, knowing I don't have to clamber out of my vehicle to use the pedestrian keypad to open the gate!
