What makes the ISOProx II different
Most proximity credentials are clamshell cards — thicker, cheaper, and impossible to print on. The ISOProx II is credit-card thickness and designed to be printed, which is why it is the standard choice wherever staff or residents carry a photo ID badge that also opens the door.

Printing these cards
The surface takes direct image printers without preparation. Cards can also be produced with visual security features — holograms, ultraviolet fluorescent inks, micro-printing or a custom logo — where you need staff to recognise a genuine card at a glance.
Using a re-transfer printer? Printers that fuse the image to the card with heat and pressure — the Fargo HDP5000 and similar — run hotter than direct-to-card printers. Specify the composite polyester/PVC construction for those, as standard PVC can distort at re-transfer temperatures. Tell us which printer you run and we will supply the right construction.
Will it work with my reader?
Any 125 kHz HID proximity reader will read this card. That covers the readers we stock:

Adding cards to an existing site? The new cards must be encoded in the same facility code and number range as the ones already issued, or your controller will not recognise them. Tell us the facility code and the starting number when you order — without it we can only supply a fresh sequence, which means reissuing everyone.

Common questions
Can I print photos on these? Yes — that is the point of the ISOProx II. The surface is made for direct image printers, and the card is credit-card thickness so it feeds like any ID card.
What is the difference between ISOProx II and a clamshell card? Printing and thickness. Both read on the same readers; only the ISOProx II can carry a photo or a logo.
Will these work with my existing cards? Only if they are encoded to the same facility code and number range. Give us those details when ordering.
What quantity do they come in? 100 minimum.
Do they work with a DoorKing or Linear system? Yes, provided the reader is 125 kHz HID proximity. Both brands use HID readers on their access control equipment.
PVC or composite? Standard PVC for normal use. Composite polyester/PVC for high wear environments, and for re-transfer printers that run at higher temperatures.
Is there a warranty? Lifetime.
