This knob is a God Send!..If power fails the gate can STILL be opened, provided you can get the plastic 'top-hat' off the top of the motor drive-shaft. The knob allows one to do easily, by not having to get a wrench to remove the old stainless-steel bolt that originally held the top-hat in place. A twist of the knob now allows access to the clamp-arm, so it can be released.
It's just that a knob. It did what it was supposed to do!!! I like my new Star Knob!!!
