Genuine DoorKing 1815-350 — the DKProx UHF long-range reader kit. A passive 902–928 MHz reader with a range adjustable from 8 to 25 ft, so a vehicle carrying a 1508-195 windshield / headlight tag or a DoorKing UHF card is identified as it rolls up and the gate opens without the driver stopping. It outputs standard 26-bit Wiegand, so it plugs into a DoorKing 1830-series telephone entry system or any access controller with a Wiegand reader input.
What ships in the kit. The UHF antenna, the 2362-010 interface board in a weather-resistant housing, a 9 ft antenna cable, the power lead and an antenna bracket for 1.5–3 in posts. Tags and cards are sold separately — order them coded to the facility code already on the site.

Not a DK Prox card reader. The 1815-350 reads DoorKing's UHF credentials only. The 125 kHz DK Prox clamshells, ISO cards and key tags (1508-120, 1508-123, 1508-127, 1508-129) are read by the short-range DK Prox readers such as the 1815-300, 1815-301 and 1815-302, not by this unit. The dual-technology 1508-197 / 1508-198 cards are the only credentials that work on both.
Setting it up
Mount the antenna, run the 12 VDC supply (3 A — do not share a small transformer with the entry system) and the Wiegand pair to the controller's reader input, then set the range on SW1 low and raise it until the tag reads reliably at the point you want the gate to start opening. Too much range reads the car in the next lane. Enrol each tag in the controller by the number printed on its envelope, with the facility code, exactly as you would a card.
Common questions
Will it work with my 1812, 1802 or 1520?
Any DoorKing controller with a 26-bit Wiegand reader input accepts it. The manual's wiring example is the 1830-series; on other units use the Wiegand input and its standard 26-bit setting.
How far does it read?
8 to 25 ft, set by switch. Windshield tags on metallic-tint or heated glass read short; move the tag to the headlight and turn the antenna vertical.
Do I need a special power supply?
A 12 VDC supply rated at least 3 A. The kit does not include one.
Can existing DK Prox cards use it?
Only the dual-technology 1508-197 / 1508-198 cards. Standard DK Prox cards and key tags are 125 kHz and will not be seen. Most sites give residents a 1508-195 tag for the vehicle and keep their card for the pedestrian door.
What is the 2362-010?
The interface board inside the kit housing. It is sold separately as a service part.
