Works with every LiftMaster, Chamberlain, and Sears garage door opener manufactured from 1993 to present that has colored learn buttons.

Compatibility

Compatible with all LiftMaster, Chamberlain, and Sears garage door openers from 1993 to present that use:

  • 315 MHz or 390 MHz frequency
  • Colored learn buttons (green, orange/red, purple, yellow)

Important: Will NOT work on pre-1993 units that use DIP switches.

    Newer model for 1996 model. Unfortunately circuit board on opener bad, but service was quick and accurate for what was ordered. Would by again from this vendor.

    The gatehouse website is well done, with the ability to cross reference part numbers to determine the correct controller. I programmed two controllers to the same garage door. Each required three tries in the 30 second time allotment to get the job done.

    Product and packaging should more clearly indicate the years that this remote will operate with the main unit. This unit does not replace the 81rl model.

    My experience with Gatehouse was excellent. The web site identified the replacement remote I needed (the original part was no longer being produced) and the quick shipment was very much appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to order from Gatehouse again!
