Compatibility

  • 315 MHz or 390 MHz frequency

Important: Will NOT work on pre-1993 units that use DIP switches.

    Works Great - Reasonable Price

    I pretty much order all my remote from Gatehouse. This one was no exception. Came with batteries and instructions, new in box. Only issue, is the clarity of the instructions. For instance, when in programming mode, every press of your remote control button is a change in the code. My garage door opener took (5) presses before it worked. When reading the instructions, it doesn't emphasize that it may take several presses because of this reason. First time I tried it, I stopped after 3 presses because I thought something was wrong.

    Anyways, another great product and all is well :)

    Thanks Gatehouse for accurate and prompt service and timely shipping. The Liftmaster 893max is an excellent product, programs in seconds. For me it replaced a 'generic' remote that just stopped working for no apparent reason after just under a year. I have the other two remotes that came with the unit and both being original Liftmasters, still work fine.

    After the local installer told us he could no longer get a remote for our Liftmaster and that we would have to get a new opener, I went online and easily found a replacement at Gatehouse. It arrived quickly, programmed easily, and saved lots of money over buying from the installer. The directions were very clear and easy to follow.

    This remote is much smaller than the one it replaced. My wife insists on using it in her car. It was the easiest thing to program. In 2 minutes, both gargage door openers were programmed on the new remote.
