Compatibility

Compatible with all LiftMaster, Chamberlain, and Sears garage door openers from 1993 to present that use:

  • 315 MHz or 390 MHz frequency
  • Colored learn buttons (green, orange/red, purple, yellow)

Important: Will NOT work on pre-1993 units that use DIP switches.

    Instructions to code were simple but did not work HOWEVER there was a note to check the Liftmaster website for new remote coding instructions (old opener and new remote). Followed website instructions and remote work perfectly....great replacement product.

    The programming is slightly different from my original remote, but after talking to the on phone tech, I realized I hadn't completely followed the instrux.

    I'd been led to believe by the local garage door repairman that new remotes were not available for this 2002 year installation. Obviously, he was wrong.

    I purchased these remotes as replacements for 973LM remotes that are several years old. The first thing I noticed after programming was the range was superb over the older models. I can now open my garage door from end of my driveway over 150ft away. I used to have to get right up to door to open even with a new battery. Programming was very easy and straight forward. Ordering process from Gatehouse was efficient and I received the order very quickly. Thanks
