Genuine DoorKing 1837-010 control board — the main board for the DoorKing 1837 telephone entry system, the commercial flagship with the eight-line directory. Unlike the 1834, one board covers both the 80 and 90 series.
The board ships with no memory chip. The 3,000-number directory lives on the plug-in 1835-147 APB chip. Move your existing chip to the new board and the programming carries over.
The display is a separate stack. The 1896-012 eight-line LCD sits on the 1892-010 driver board. A blank or scrambled display with a working board is one of those two, not this board. The 1837 also has two transformers, 1508-060 (40 VA) and 1804-060 (20 VA); check both on a dead unit.

After fitting
Fit your existing memory chip to the new board before powering up; the directory and codes live on the chip, not the board. Then confirm the system settings — talk time, relay strike time, tone-open codes — against your records before handing the system back.
