DoorKing 1601-156 — 1/2 HP motor. Genuine DoorKing replacement motor for the 1601 series barrier gate operators. It is the current part for the discontinued 1601-074 motor, so order the 1601-156 wherever an older parts diagram calls for the 1601-074.

When a motor fails the operator hums without moving, trips the breaker, or cuts out on thermal overload. Check the capacitor first — a failed capacitor gives the same symptoms for a fraction of the cost.
