Genuine LiftMaster K1D8080-1CC expansion board — the expansion board for LiftMaster’s second-generation DC operators: the VDC pad-mounts (CSL24VDC, CSW24VDC, RSL12VDC, RSW12VDC) and the LA500 / LA500DC arm operators. It pairs with the K1D8059-1CC main board on the pad-mounts and the K1D8052-1CC on the arm operators, and carries the extra loop, safety and accessory inputs.
Not for UL325 (2016 on) operators. The current U/UL models pair the K1D8387-1CC expansion board with their UL325 main boards. The V-generation CSL24V and CSW24V use the K1D6686CC. Read the number on your existing expansion board, or on the main board beside it, before ordering.

Is the expansion board actually the problem?

After fitting
Photograph the harness before removing the old board and reconnect the new one the same way. Re-test every safety device wired to it before returning the gate to service.
Fit surge protection at the same time. Storm damage is a leading cause of gate operator board failure. If this board died after a storm, the replacement is at the same risk unless the installation is protected.
