    I needed the new remotes for a house I am renovating and had bought a universal one at a big box store. They quit working within a week!!     We have the unit with the purple "smart button" and this product works great. It's super-easy to program, and responds quickly to the touch each time to open or close the garage door. And the Gatehouse folks are the best!
