The RLPROG01 Reader Programming Tool has been developed to assist field technicians in easily updating firmware and configuring the SC1000W Carina UHF RFID Reader so they will work with the new tag formats.

This programmer can be returned for credit, less shipping charges after upgrading.
Returns must be completed within 30 days

New changes in our RFID tag product lines have prompted a necessary update to many of the SC1000W & SC1000W-UL Carina RFID readers that are in the field. While some older Carina readers may not require the update, readers produced up until 11/6/23 may need the update to ensure compatibility with the new RFID tags.
The Information below can be used to determine if your RFID reader will NOT require an update:

SC1000W & SC1000WUL Readers Produced after 11/6/23 or Serial Number 2306i00178

SC1000W & SC1000WUL Readers that have been sent in under RMA for repair after 11/1/23

To help facilitate the RFID reader update, we can offer two tools to support this activity in the field:

The RLPROG-001 Reader Programming Tool eliminates the need of a laptop and easily updates the reader with the latest. If you already have the RLPROG-001 tool, you may need to have it updated if it is not the latest firmware version, currently 1.2.1 (displayed at startup).

This cable is for updating the RFID reader with a Laptop PC and has connections for both reader and S2W module.
