Genuine Nice Apollo 1050US universal control board — the UL325 (2018) version of Apollo's LCD-programmed smart board, with the monitored entrapment-device inputs required for new installations in the US. It runs the current Apollo swing and slide operators, single or dual (primary / secondary), on AC or solar, and takes the plug-in Nice receiver. The international 1050I is the same board family without the UL325 monitored inputs.
1050US or 1050I? For a UL325-compliant site, or any new installation, order the 1050US and fit the required entrapment devices: two monitored sensors on a slide gate, and on a swing gate two unless there is no entrapment risk in one direction. The board will not run the gate until they are connected. For a like-for-like swap on an operator already running a 1050I, the 1050I is the board.

Older 7200 operators: the 1050 board runs them but does not mount in the original box, and a 40BS13 sprocket is needed. Send us the operator's serial number before ordering for one of those.

Is the board actually the problem?
The board is the most over-ordered part on a gate operator. Work down this list before you buy:

After fitting
Set the operator type and limits, learn the monitored entrapment devices, pair the receiver and remotes, then re-test the reversal in both directions.
Fit surge protection when you fit the board. Lightning and utility surges are the most common reason a gate operator or entry system board is replaced, and a new board on the same unprotected supply is at the same risk.
