SAFETY BEAM SENDER & RECEIVER (WITH WIRE)
SAFETY BEAM SENDER & RECEIVER (WITH WIRE)
I received this item on time and was a snap to install. Came with wire connectors. Worked well.
The product was just exactly what I needed and accurately described in the part description by Gatehouse. Easy installation by a non-professional do-it-yourself handyman.
got here fast and worked great
Garage door would not shut when sun was shining directly on safety sensors even though it worked fine at night and cloudy days. Had several technicians look at problem, was even told I needed a new opener. Two companies tried to replace sensors with generic version and they did not work and shorted out. Ordered these replacement sensors specifically for Linear door and they worked perfectly fine immediately. Thanks for having Linear door parts!
Great price, fast shipping. Best on the web.
Product worked great, well impressed with the easy of installation, thank you for a great purchase.
These sensors worked perfectly and fixed out garage door issue quickly. THANK you for your speedy shipping!
This was easy to install and solved the issue of the garage door thinking there was something in its way and therfore not closing.
best price, easy to install, and door working like new.I saved $60 buying from gatehouse online.thank you.
The sensors are the exact replacement for the damaged one that I had. The damage was due to flooding from SuperStorm Sandy. They were simple to replace and Gatehouse was magnificent to deal with. I ordered them the day after christmas and needed them in 2 days and I gat them as promised.
These sensors probably shouldn't have failed after five years, but they did. The result was that I couldn't lower the garage door with the remote. The only way to lower it was by holding down the button on the wired control until the door was completely lowered.
That said, the repair/replacement of the sensors took only ten minutes! Just twist the old sensors to remove them from the brackets, then clip the wires. Strip about half an inch of insulation from each of the existing wires. Insert one of the existing wires and one of the wires from the new sensor into the provided splices, then squeeze the splice with a pair of pliers.
Repeat for each of the wires on the two new sensors and insert the sensors into the brackets, the twist the sensors to align them to each other. You will see a red light on each sensor and a green light on one sensor when they are properly aligned.
Done!
The shipping was timely however I was disappointed that there were no instructions included.
