If a remote has stopped working, change the battery first — that is the cause most of the time. Remotes must match the opener's radio generation, and the learn button colour on the motor unit tells you which.

    Bought 3 garage door receiver and transmitter kits. These were easy to install, taking just a few minutes each. Should be reliable as I installed one about twenty years ago and still functions although a bit weak, so I replaced it while I was doing the other two.

    I thought I was going to have to change the entire garage door opener, but thought for $35 I'd take a chance and replace just the transmitter. Package was shipped and arrived within 2 days, installation took 5 minutes--GARAGE DOOR WORKS AGAIN!! Saved me at least $150 and several hours of work.

    I ordered and received my replacement parts to fix my garage door opener in a timely manner.
