041B0591 Battery replacement

Direct replacement for the OEM batteries. Back-up power unit initialized properly once the replacement batteries were installed. Instructions were included and the replacement process was very easy.

I ordered the subject BBU battery on 7-4-12, received via FedX on 7-6-12. Notified Gatehouse of broken lead & corrosion on one post of a battery and requested warranty replacement at no charge to me. On 7-9-12 received email of "no stk" and T/B reordered. 7-10-12 repl unit sent out via FedX & recvd 7-11-12 with a return label. The new battery is now installed and being charged up. The damaged battery will be retnd to Gatehouse on 7-15-12. Even tho a slight delay occurred with the replacament battery, overall I will give Gatehouse an excellent rating with their expedited performance. Looking forward to another nine years or more on the new battery. Thank you. Andy Pena

My battery backup system for the garage door died after 5 years. Ordered replacement batteries and they arrived promptly with good instructions. Changed the batteries (took about 15 minutes with the bulk of the time, removing the battery case from the ceiling). They promptly charged.

So far so good. Everything works fine. Surprised to see the batteries were made in China though. Long way to ship all that lead.
