Slide Gate SL930 parts

Before you order — three things to check.

1. The SL930 runs a 70 volt DC motor, not 12 or 24 volt. It is not the same platform as the SL505 or SW425 even though it shares a few service kits with them. The 20-40351 motor, the 21-40359 12V transformer and the 9596 main transformer are specific to this operator.

2. Two kits differ from the SL920 by a single digit. The SL930 takes drive sprocket kit K75-40401 and limit switch kit K74-40347. The SL920 takes K75-40402 and K74-40386. All four are real and all are stocked, so this can go wrong in either direction. The two operators do share the rectifier, external resistor, idler sprocket and reduction sprocket kits — but not the motor, the transformer, the limit switch kit or the drive sprocket kit.

3. Most of the drive train is sold as lettered service kits. There are four separate sprocket kits — idler, drive, reduction, and the motor and gear box assembly — and ordering the wrong one is easy. Match the letter on the drawing before you buy.

This is an older platform and much of it is discontinued. The motor, gear box service kit, limit switch, limit nut and limit/drive shaft assembly are all no longer available from LiftMaster. Where a part is still stocked here, it is stock on hand.
