Before you order — three things to check.

1. Your motor is set by voltage, phase and horsepower — and SL580 motors are not SL590 motors. The SL580GL was built with twelve different motors across three supplies — 115/230V single phase, 230/460V three phase, and 575V three phase — in 1/2, 3/4, 1 and 1-1/2 HP. Read the data plate on the motor itself, not the operator, and match all three values in the motor table below. The SL580 uses the -2T and -4T series; the SL590 uses -2 and -4. So 20-1050C-2T and 20-1050C-2 are both real, both 1/2 HP 115/230V single phase, and they are different parts. This is the most expensive thing on the page to get wrong.

2. The brake kit follows the same supply voltage as the motor. 115V takes K75-18616, 230/460V takes K72-18617, and 575V takes 71-B575. Each kit includes the matching solenoid.

3. Four separate assemblies use lettered callouts. B1–B9 are the disc brake, C1–C4 are the torque limiter and clutch, D1–D7 are the manual disconnect, and E1–E13 are the limit and electrical box. Check which group your callout came from before ordering — several numbers repeat across groups.
