Product works great and is easy to install
The replacement Multi code 1099-50 coax receiver, mcs109950 I received was work great. My battery had exploded in the control box and fried all the circuits inside. Gate is back work better than it ever did.

I was replacing a unit that was approximately 15 years old that still worked but had a diminished range for receiving the signal from the remotes. New unit installed and range restored. Perfect.

First - their service is great!
I could not find a convenient, safe place to mount the receiver outside of the box that holds the motor. The plastic box for the receiver is not water tight and the last one did not do well in Southern California sun. So, I extended the connecting wires, bought a weather tight box and mounted it higher, where the bears could not bump it as they scratched/rubbed along the gate. I did not use the extension COAX because I wanted max signal so that i could open the gate from further away. It works, I can start the gate from about 200' away so that it is open by the time I get to it. Perfect - simple - reliable - happy
