NOTE: Will not work on pre 1993 units that have dip switches.

    The Liftmaster 980 keychain garage door opener has an excellent range....much better than with the car remote that came with my opener !! Also, the instructions were very easy to understand and follow...worked the very first time ! Very pleased with it, along with the fast delivery ! Will probably buy 2 more....one for my wife, and one for my son.
