Important: This remote is NOT compatible with standard residential garage door openers that use rolling code (non-DIP) technology. It is also not for use on units made after 2010 that use the round yellow learn button (Security+ 2.0).
Easy Programming (DIP Switch Setup)
- Open the remote housing
- Match the DIP switch pattern to your existing remote or receiver
- Close the case and test
No learn buttons or operator reprogramming required. Compatible for cloning with the 892LT and 894LT learning remotes.
Important Note on Replacing 61LM, 361LM or 811LM Remotes
The 811LMX will not clone a remote that has the #1 DIP switch in the ON position, or any switches in the middle (0) position.
If your existing remotes use a code with the #1 switch ON, you'll need to program the new 811LMX into the system directly. This lets both your old remotes and the new 811LMX control the system. If your existing remotes do not have the #1 switch ON or any switches in the middle position, you won't have an issue.
