NOTE: If the new tags are for a site that is using the Infinity Carina reader then you will need a firmware upgrade tool so that the Carina reader can read both old & new tags

There have been some recent changes in the RFID tag industry and these changes have led us to update our tag product line. The positive to this change is that our new RFID tags will have significant increases in performance over the older designs.
These improvements include:

Additional Room for Custom Artwork
More Flexible Tag Security
As always, our new RFID tag products are constructed with non-shrink PET as well as UV/IR protection to ensure a long life in rugged vehicle applications.
The first two RFID tags to be replaced in our product line are our Universal Mount RFID tags and our Rearview Mirror Hang Tags. Below is a cross-reference of the older tag part numbers and the new replacements:

We will have the new RFID tag designs in stock shortly and will be phasing out the remaining old designs in the coming months as inventory is depleted. We will keep you updated as the newer designs are released.
All new orders will be shipped with a notice informing of the new RFID tag changes and the possible need for an RFID reader update.
