    Thanks for and excellent product, all parts worked perfectly. And I don't think I could have accomplished the rebuild job without your u-tube video, matter of fact I know I could not have even though it seemed simple to start with.

    Gear kit for 1/2 hp garage door opener

    The kit arrived in a matter of a few days by mail and I had watched an online video prior to receiving the kit. When I could not find the same video to review, I got the written directions but was able to do the job with out referring to them. One bushing was damaged so used the old one. It appeared the package was damaged during shipment. Don't throw away old parts until know you know you will not need them.

    The product was the OEM gear kit and fit the unit as documented in the video demonstration. The video demonstration was very very helpful. I did make the mistake of not having the gear shaft aligned properly before screwing it down and was unable to install the sprocket protector, but was able to remove the casing while hanging and fix that. Other than that mistake of mine, everything came apart and went together as shown in the video. The kit itself had all the pieces that I needed to refurbish the gears. Very pleased!

    Placed my order for the gear kit on Sunday morning. The order was received on Wednesday. Very satisfied with the delivery time, I was expecting 7-10 days. I was surprised to find instructions with the kit. The instructions were detailed enough. I would suggest watching a how-to on youtube.com, it helps along with the instructions. It will take about 1-2 hours to remove and install the gear kit. Now the opener works.

    Gear kit 41c4220 worked like a charm.
    Instructional video was the best.
    Made sure I had the correct tools and I was finished in 3 hours. Video is correct about taking the motor down, it's much easier. Of course the the video is correct about everything. Very Happy Indeed.
