I have a Chamberlain Lift Master garage door opener. The remotes seemed to be working less and less, only opening the garage door when we pulled right up to the garage, hitting the button several times, and holding the opener at arms length toward the garage. We tried a new remote and new batteries, both of which helped, but only for a few weeks, then the same thing happened. I saw the antenna extender as an option and tried it. It works great! Our openers work with a single button press every time at 50-100 ft down the street. The installation was easy, but I thought a little tedious since you have to cut off one connector end of the coax, and do a lot of wire stripping. Instructions are clear and easy to follow, but I figured a "kit" would have done half the work for you already.
I mounted the antenna inside the garage, against the exterior wall, and it works great that way. Test it first before drilling a hole for an exterior mount.

Went from needing to be an inch from door for opening to being 20 feet away.

Was easy to install and has greatly increased the range of our garage door opener. I highly recommend it.
