My purchase of the Chamberlain belt shortening clip and link is exactly what I need to install a door opener in a tight space. Installation is tomorrow.

This somewhat hard to find part is the perfect item to accompany your Chamberlain belt driven garage door opener. I had to saw 12 inches off of the bar to avoid a beam in the garage. I can still get the 7 foot roll up door all the way up, after some careful adjusting.

I purchased new Chamberlain garage door openers. My garage was constructed with an I Bean across the middle so I had to cut my rails and belt. The splice kit came in and I was able to finish installing two garage door openers in no time. Belts work smooth and the splice was simple to complete.

This part was quite a search. I read about it on the Chamberlain faq website but couldn't order it from them on the site. So, I emailed them for more help. Had a garage door belt that was 2 feet too long, this item allowed me to shorten it and saved quite a few dollars.

Good stirdy metal clip for custom make on belt!

The product is very simple, just two pieces of metal. It seems to be of a good quality. Pieces fit nicely and I did not have any problems with it. The only thing is that it is hard to bend the clip to fix the link in place. Otherwise it is great.

This little beauty allowed me to salvage a new belt that was 3" too long. It attached easily and works like the belt came from the factory with it.

Received this part very fast and was had no problems with the part.

I was able to use this product to adjust my garage door opener belt then attach the belt clip. This worked great for me and saved me some money too as getting these same items from the original manufacture would have cost way too much..
