    Parts and Video were FANTASTIC

Posted by Chuck Sheppard on Apr 9th 2014

The sprocket and gears were a perfect fit for my garage door opener and the Video right on your site just below the parts gave me the confidence I could definitely fix this thing myself. FedEx Home Delivery - very slow. Took over a week to receive shipment from California to Rochester NY. I usually get things from CA via UPS in 2 days.

    Exactly what I needed

Posted by Jack on Mar 27th 2014

Was happy the parts arrived in just a couple days. The gears in my garage opener were stripped and the Gatehouse video walked me through the entire rebuild process perfectly. My only suggestion would be to have a friend available to help getting your unit down from the ceiling and reinstalled.

    Garage opener repair

Posted by mike rains on Mar 18th 2014

The gear/sprocket kit was easy to install and should provide many years of operation. I found the youtube video to be right on the money. The installation went exactly as shown in the video. But, it required a much longer time to perform. Nice product, saved me a lot of money vs. buying a new unit.
    Thanks

    Perfect Parts

Posted by JS on Feb 25th 2014

The parts fit perfectly. This is the second time I've had to deal with this problem (second garage door). Having worked through the exact same issue last year with guidance of the video made it a simple project.

These parts fit both my Chamberlain and Sears door openers. The Sears machine was dated 1993, so I musn't grumble.

Still the question remains: why are these gears made of nylon? They wear out and get shredded over time. Seems to me that metal gears would make these machines nearly indestructible.

Hopefully, the new gears and greased parts will last another 20 years!

Thanks for being there Gatehouse, it sure beats opening & closing the door manually, when it's bloody -20°F wind chill here in MinneSNOWta!

Replacement paqrts for older garage door opener

Posted by Joe on Oct 29th 2013

The parts were exactly what I needed, I was also happy that there was a tube of lubricating grease and a detailed instruction sheet for the replacement. I will do business with this company again when the time comes.
