Solved the issue

Close/Open switch was easy to install, and perfect replacement.

The replacement switches worked perfect. This gate's close switch was often failing, and though it switched in an ohm test, it had more resistance than normal.
Gatehouse had the best price I could find, and I ordered 2, and replaced both the close and open switches. The gate had been installed for 19 years with original switches.

Gatehouse personal service was also great. I really needed the switch to get the gate operational, but because I ordered extra fuses, my order entered a "backorder" state, which was unfortunate. But the person that answered their phone helped me change the order to expedite the Switch, and I was able to get the gate operational the next day.

The part fit perfectly and works as good as the original.

I found this company during a random Google search and am glad that I did.

They had the product I needed, it was fairly priced, and the parts were shipped and received within only a couple days.

Service, and shipping time was impeccable. I am very impressed with the gatehouse company.

My original part was made in Japan. the replacement part I received was from the original manufacture, but was made in CHINA. The only concern I have, it was made in "CHINA" Several items I have purchased in recent years from CHINA has been of inferior quality. Time will tell on this part.

I don't have a problem with CHINA importing their goods to the U.S.. I do mind we don't have a buying choice like we used to..

It was the right part and fit right in place. I got to use my butane soldering iron for the first time.
