The Model MDT-1A 1-channel Visor Transmitter is designed for use with Linear's access control products. The Model MDT-1A is a single-channel device. Pressing either the round button on the transmitter's front, or the small button on the transmitter's top will send the same signal. The top button can be hidden with the top button cover supplied. Also included are lithium batteries with a five-year service life and a visor clip. The transmitter is MegaCode format, which means each transmitter is factory preprogrammed with one of over 1,000,000 codes, virtually eliminating the possibility of code duplication. Because the receiver "learns" each specific code, no unauthorized person can gain access to the system by reprogramming a transmitter.

    Being that I only have one garage door I like the single button remote. Easy to program, easy to use. It was also a little cheaper than buying a universal remote from the home improvement store.

    our old garage door openers had both failed,we have an old moore o matic and were afraid we were going to have to get a whole new door opener,as I had just had surgery this would have been hard at this time.I requested info from gatehouse and they advised me what to get and they arrived promptly,very happy.     Good customer follow-up. I placed order initial on the web site but somehow trigger into a loop of the ecomm site, display "Please note: Shipping rates have been updated based on your new "ship to" address. Please review then resubmit your order."

    Emailed customer service and got response at reasonable time so my order went through. I received the delivery on time. The price is really good deal comparing to other sites.

    The product is great. Looks good and works good. Took 15 seconds to program to Door Motor. I like the small button on the top end, in addition to the normal center/side button. the small button gives me flexibility in placement of the remote in my car and access to open the door.
