Doorking 1812 circuit board 1871-010

The 1871-010 is a replacement CPU to the 1812. There is an upgrade kit with the newer CPU, but the upgrade costs is nearly as much as a complete new unit, so you might as well buy a whole new unit. Unfortunately, the newer unit is not programmable from a PC via your telco line. DK now only supports PC programability via Ethernet which is limited to 350feet and requires trenching for CAT-5e from house to gate. The 1871-010 CPU is expensive! $800 shipped! Shipment was dropped shipped from either the factory or a distributor directly to me. This caused the 2-day shipping to take 3 days. But the CPU arrived in good condition and in working order. If DK supported programablility via the telco line as before, the newer system would have been a good upgrade choice for the cost.
