The old socket corroded in a fairly dry, mild environment. I hope the new one lasts longer

My garage door light cease to work and I saw the socket had burned out and the garage door opener being 11 yrs. old I didn't think parts were available and in research was able to fine a replacement at Gate house and was so please in the way their stock was available and inexpensive.

I could not find this repair part at the big box store where I bought the opener. I received the product in just a few days (sooner than expected) and it was a perfect fit. It took less than 1/2 hour to replace the old burnt out socket. If I need any garage door parts in the future, I will go to the Gatehouse website.
