Sweet! Control from my iPhone or Computer

This is really an easy set up. Plug the 828 into the router via the included lan cable. Plug in power supply. Go on line to register the unit's serial number. Download the free app from the app store. Program the iphone using the learn button. done. The app will also tell you the current status of the door...up or down and if using the 823LM light controller for an exterior light, will tell you if your lights are on or off (from anywhere in the world!)

Since there no longer is a fee for this, this adds so much value to my MyQ enabled model 8500 opener. My benefits are : #1) Open my garage door with my iPhone when I am 2-3 blocks away so there's no waiting for when I pull up. #2) if I go for a jog or bike ride, I only bring my phone.... no keys, no garage door opener to carry. #3) Never worry again I left the garage door open accidentally, not to mention see the time elapsed since the door was last open or shut. 4) I don't need an opener for my car that doesn't have homelink 5) Major technology bragging rights;it's likely no one else you know has this, let alone knows it even existed!
