I have an old Chamberlain Motor Lift 5000 garage door opener that I purchased in 1998. It’s served me well but the main gear broke at the weekend. I found the original manual and was able to identify the broken gear and sprocket (41c4206). Google identified Gatehouse as the only supplier of this part. The cost was $39.99 and the shipping cost $46.39 but I thought it was worth ordering and having a go at replacing it myself. The item arrived within just a few days and everything was in the kit that I needed to replace. It wasn’t a simple job, and did take a few hours. The kit contained some basic instructions that helped immensely, and one week after it breaking, it was all repaired and back to its former glory. I would have preferred to have purchased from the UK, but with no obvious supplier I was stumped. Gatehouse have come up trumps and saved me a fortune. I would definately highly recommend Gatehouse in the future.
