Shipped quickly and the correct part. No complaints here
Repaired the opener for the cost of the part.
Thankfully I spent a few minutes online before calling the company that installed the garage doors in my house 10+ years ago. My door stopped working so I turned to Google to find some help. This website was great, the project took about 20 minutes including reprogramming the remotes. Provided instructions were seamless, and order experience was simple. Definitely recommend doing the job yourself and ordering from gatehousesupplies.com
was able to find the part I needed quickly and at a price that was acceptable.
One of my garage door control boards failed during a strong lightning strike. Ordered a new board from Gatehouse and the order process and delivery performance (USPS) were very good. Control board was shipped with easy to follow installation instructions. New board solved the problem. Based on technical guidance from Liftmaster, I first verified that the much cheaper control board in the hard-wired push button control box was not the problem.
Replacement took 5 minutes, three screws. No need to remove any side screws. Put a single plug surge arrester on your openers if you don't have oneÂ…8-10 dollars
Well, I just bought a $73 dollar light bulb.
Seems like the one that was in my GD opener was not always coming on. So, in my infinite wisdom, I decided to wad up a piece of aluminum foil and shove it behind the bulb.
POOF!
Fried the circuit board.
DUH
Anyway the parts and delivery from Gatehouse was excellent!
I highly recommend them.
It seems to be working fine. Thanks for the quick delivery.
Product was the correct one. It was a different part number but customer service confirmed that it would work. She was right. Plus received product two days earlier than expected. I would recommend using Gatehouse.
The part I ordered was exactly what I needed, arrived when promised, and cost a lot less than one I could've purchased locally. I will use this vendor again!
